Civilian Information
Name:
Taiki Kou
Gender:
Female
Age:
18
Birthday:
May 30th
Birthplace:
A star ruled by Kinmokusei
Physical description:
Taiki Kou is a handsome woman. Physically beautiful by no one's definition, she has a seemingly too-high forehead and a too-lanky body. She is used to hovering over everyone else by half a head or more and is surprisingly light for her height. She is, however, a creature of immaculate elegance. She moves with a dancer's grace, and her long brown hair, tyically tied up in a ponytail, simply flows. Her eyes are of the clearest amethyst.
Personality:
She was smart in that chilling bone-deep way that went beyond a quick memory. She understood things. Innately. Instinctively. She devoured knowledge and drank it like fine wine, and none dared question her position as the brains of the group. However, her intelligence comes with an icy demeanor. She valued peace, quiet, and solitude, and while she wasn't opposed to being with others, prolonged exposure to others could make her uncomfortable.
Senshi Information
Senshi Title:
Sailor Star Maker
Senshi Group:
Sailor Starlights
Senshi Level:
Regular Senshi
Senshi Fuku:
At times described as a "bondage leather fuku", the Starlights have a distinctive and almost indecent uniform. Maker is no exception. Her fuku is composed of a black leather sailor collar, a simple brassiere that holds a winged star brooch, and a pair of leather hotpants. She wears leather gloves and boots that extends past the elbow and knee respectively. On her forehead rests a beaded tiara with a golden five-point star. Her ears are adorned by similar stars, and two beaded belts coils around her midsection, held together by another star. Maker's theme color is violet, and as such she has three studded violet collars around her neck and violet heavy iron protectors around her upper arms.
Henshin Phrase: Maker Star Power, Make-Up!
Attacks:
Star Gentle Uterus
Maker's Star Yell appears, flashes, and flies into her hands. She then yells her attack, and pulsing orbs of blue energy shoots towards her opponents.

History:
She wasn't born to it and she wasn't groomed for it, but somehow Taiki Kou took to being a Sailor Scout frighteningly well.
Taiki had always been practical. When she was young she always thought she'd grow up to be a scientist or a doctor or a poet and live aboringsimple life, just like her parents. She wasn't ambitious. She was a clumsy child and a lonely child and a terribly intelligent child, and in school she was teased for her forehead and her tallness and for being a nerd, and no one thought she would amount to anything else anyways. Even Mama and Papa thought it was fine if Taiki was average. It was fine, wasn't it?
But Taiki wasn't average, and by the time she was thirteen everyone knew.
As a child she was just a tad bit smarter than the others, better than the others, more willing to understand than the others. There was an aura she exuded -- "We have the shine of the stars," Seiya says and smiles so brightly -- and it could not be hid and refused to leave. Sometime somewhere that differentness caught something's attention, and it wasn't a good type of attention.
She wasn't sure--couldn't explain--how she first became a Senshi. All she could remember was the fear and the darkness and the shock, and there was danger and one moment she was frozen and then she wasn't. She fainted somewhere along the line and when she woke up, there was a ship whisking her off to Kinmokusei. Soon she was meeting the Princess and they told her she was a Sailor Senshi. Imagine that. Then she met Seiya and Yaten, and her life truly began.
She wasn't lying when she said "I don't miss my family."
They had three beautiful years together. There was laughter and tears and rivalry and comradarie, and sometime in between Taiki grew into her skin and grew to love her new family. She was happy. Life was wonderful. Life was great. I don't want this to end --
Then Galaxia decided to drop by.
In one night, everything was gone. Kinmokusei was utterly, completely destroyed. Horror and the stench of death blanketed the planet. Then the Princess disappeared and the Starlights could only follow, and they followed until they lost her trail on Earth.
Taiki never forgot--could never forget--how close she came to dying during those days. And she would have, too, if they hadn't found the Princess when they did.
On Earth, they became The Three Lights. They were idols. Boy idols. They bounded their breasts and pretended to be something else, and Taiki gave up her "her"-ness for it. She retreated into her mind, growing more and more numb with every day that they couldn't find the Princess. Nothing went right and everything became a front, an act, automated actions, and then they met that girl.
Sailor Moon.
Seiya alikened that girl to the Princess once. Taiki almost throttled Seiya right there and then. Yet... and yet Taiki agreed, deep down inside, that maybe Moon was like the Princess because Taiki couldn't hate Moon no matter how hard she tried, and she did try. And then things started going right just a little bit, and then they found the burner and--"Princess!"--their Princess was back, alive, wholly and whole. Finally, the world was right again.
But not for long. Never for long.
The Princess guided Moon to Galaxia's Palace, and they went to save Moon's friends. Somewhere between here and there and nowhere at all, the Starlights lost. Lost before they even reached the Golden Senshi. Maker saw the two faces--Sailors Phi and Chi--the Lights' murderers.
Eventually, Sailor Moon sacrificed herself and all was saved. The Starlights were reborn, their kingdom restored. Two years have passed. Two years of peace. But peace never lasted and Taiki's waiting for the other shoe to drop.
Roleplaying Example:
She was sitting at the library, and there’s the slightest hint of a frown forming on Taiki Kou's elegant, elegant face. The thin pages glared, and words were fading into one another into a swirl of black ink. Nothing made sense. She couldn't concentrate. For the first time in what seemed like forever, Taiki Kou couldn't bring herself to read.
Yes. Taiki. Couldn't bring herself to read. In the library. The shock of it. What would Seiya say?
A faint smile creeped onto Taiki's face, and she slammed the book shut. A sigh escaped her lips, the only sound to grace the library after hours of quiet. The chair scrapped against the ground as Taiki stood up to shelve the book.
Lately, she had been so restless all the time. Once rebuilding was done, Taiki had found herself with a shipload of time to ponder, think, and remember. She didn't mean to remember that little blue planet at the edges of the universe, but somehow the thought refused to leave her mind.
Earth.
Ah... what would Yaten and Seiya say if they knew she was thinking about that?
