It was early evening when the four senshi arrived at the restaurant the shinto priestess had told them about. They were seated in a secluded area of the restaurant and handed menus. There were a lot of traditional Japanese trays served there, though there were a few random dishes for those who wanted a bite to eat, but didn't quite like the traditional foods.
Hino Rei took the tea pot from the middle of the table and began to distribute the tea to each cup before setting a cup in front of each occupant. She wasn't going to be the one to break the silence quite yet...

"Food!"Those words were all Tsukino Usagi could say as her bright blue eyes looked all through the menu. She didn't know what to order first. All she knew was that her tummy was itching for the yummy goodness of food. It was her favorite thing to look at other than her friends and family. As she did look at the minute she closed it for a moment and said,"Oh! This is so amazing! Im so happy everyone is together!" Her heart leaped with joy as she had a huge smile on her face.
Her smile was so bright to her it seemed that it could take up her whole face. She even too happy at the moment she think about the new enemy. That was far back in her head,as she dropped the smile opening the menu once more.

Haruka couldn't help but laugh at how... well, excited their princess seemed. That was just her, wasn't it? It was almost like she'd already forgotten about the attack, and the threat of a new enemy.
"We should've gotten together like this months ago," she smiled, just a little one. "Or is it just that we need threats to call us together?"

"That is a sad thought," agreed Michiru. Of course it shouldn't be that way. After all, they are a team. And who's to say that they've been acting like one. "But it is the way we worked in the past, I suppose."

Rei let a polite smile touch her lips, though there was little humor in the comment Haruka had just made. Were the senshi so distant that they needed threats and war to bring them together? Everyone had been so busy with their own lives, and even the tight group of the Guardian senshi had become distant. The solider of passion couldn't remember the last time she had seen or spoken to Ami, Minako, or Makoto...
She brought her cup to her lips, sipping at her tea and letting the warm liquid rest in her mouth for a moment before she swallowed and set the cup down. Her eyes gazed on the menu before her before deciding to stick with a rice bowl topped with vegetable and teriyaki chicken.
"Times of peace give us so much more time to do the things we've been unable to do. When we know that we'll all be together in the future, I suppose we just tend to forget that we need to nurture our friendships."
The priestess shook her head before turning to smile at Usagi, bringing her hand to gently poke at her arm.
"You know what you're going to get, Usagi-chan?"

[Seeing as we now lack an Usagi, I will play Usagi for the rest of the thread.]
Blue eyes gazed over the menu for a few moments more, pink lips pressing together in concentration, before she finally came to a decision and shut her menu, turning to look at the older senshi across from her. There was much truth to the words spoken by all three of them and she felt like it was equally her fault as well. Her eyes fell for a moment before she heard Rei's question and she let a small smile slip onto her lips.
"Ah, I was going to get some Sukiyaki with a side of Yakitori~." She turned to look at Haruka and Michiru. "Maybe next time we go out, we can invite Setsuna-san and Hotaru-chan." She then turned to look at Rei. "And then call Minako-chan and Ami-chan, and Mako-chan! Then it would be a real party~!" She giggled childishly as she looked up, her eyes holding a sort of dreamy look. "And then I could call Mamo-chan~~."

Michiru smiled down at her princess. Maybe a change of topic would do some good here. "How is Mamoru-san?" she asked. It had been a while since they were all together. Maybe they could catch up a bit before discussing the more serious topics. After all, they still have their human lives that they are living.

Haruka had to admit, she was as curious as her lover when it came to how their future King was - she hadn't seen him in a good while, as wrapped-up as she'd been in her odd little family's business.
"Next time Setsuna-san is back, we'll have to bring her out - she misses you, Princess," in fact, the Time Guardian was due back rather soon, or so she'd promised. "But besides that, I hope Mamoru-san's treating you well... our future Queen needs a good King."

Rei gave a slight roll of the eyes at the mention of Mamoru. Of course, she admired the man greatly, for he would one day be the King of the Earth, and he had been the one who kept the darling smile on Usagi's lips. However, Usagi usually went into dream land whenever her boyfriend was mentioned.
But despite the eye-roll, she was curious as to how Mamoru was doing, and how their relationship was. Unfortunately, it had been far too long since they'd last spoken.
Which reminded Rei of the true reason they were at dinner. They had yet to discuss the one point that Rei wanted to speak to Haruka and Michiru about. Usagi's dreams...

Usagi rose the tea cup and took a long sip before setting it down, swallowing the warm liquid as she listened to the questions her friends had for her. She gave a small, fond smile at the mention of her darling.
"He's been well, last I heard. There's a holiday coming up in America soon, so he'll be coming home from college for a month. He said he'd be coming in about a week~!" She smiled happily at the thought of getting to see her fiance and her cheeks warmed up.
"Oh, Setsuna-san? I haven't seen her in such a long time." She brushed some bangs from her eyes, smiling. "I'd like to see everyone together again~"

It was wonderful to see their Princess so happy, and so utterly in love with their future King... to be honest, the depths of their love often surprised Haruka. Just a little.
"Well, koneko-chan..." it was then that her communicator went off. She carefully pulled the device out of her pocket, noting the second message... Pluto and Saturn. Some place called GeneCo - she had to admit, she'd never heard of it."You might be seeing Setsuna-san soon. She needs our help."

[Michiru hasn't posted for quite some time, so we were waiting for a response from Michiru to what Usagi had said and then the fact that the communicators of the Outer Senshi were going off.]
